Editorial policy
Western Racing Review aims to make horse racing easier to understand through careful, clearly written explanations. Accuracy, transparency and a useful distinction between fact and interpretation guide our work.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against reliable material appropriate to the subject, define specialist terms and revise wording when it could mislead. Articles should distinguish established explanations from interpretation, and should not imply certainty where the subject does not support it.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial relationship. A partner does not receive control over our conclusions, coverage choices or editorial standards.
Corrections
If you believe a passage is inaccurate, use the Contact page and identify the article and wording in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making the change clear where the nature of the correction calls for it.
Commercial material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is clearly identified as such and kept distinct from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, they are labelled so readers can distinguish them from documentary images.
